Everyone at Furbaby Pet Care hopes this message finds you well. We all know are in uncertain times – it’s virtually new and uncharted territory for everyone. But, want to let you know we continue to be here for you!
Did you know, Furbaby Pet Care is considered an essential service?! We are honoured to be able to be here for pets during this hard time. I thought I would take a moment and let you know how our services will work for you: we will continue to be open 6:30 AM – 6 PM for daily and drop off daycare; and our 24 hour care will remain on a needs-only basis.
Remember, we will not let anyone’s pets be without care when they need it most. As such, our Public Open Park remains closed on the usual drop-in basis. Dogs, however, who are brought in for daily daycare do get supervised access to park.
There will be some changes at Furbaby Pet Care which you will likely notice:
- There is now a doorbell at the main entrance. Please ring it upon arriving and wait outside;
- A trained staff member will meet you at the front door and lead your pet to the daycare area;
- Please keep your pet’s collar and leash and leave the premises with it as we will have a slip lead ready for your pet;
- Your pet will be wiped down upon entry and again just before exit.

Many of our team members remain at our facility – either as staff or on a volunteer basis, so you do not have to worry. We are prepared and able to care for your pet. Furbaby, truly, has the best team to care for your pets!
Frequently asked questions:
Q: We heard pets don’t carry the COVID-19 virus, so why are they being wiped down.
A: Based on what we know currently there is limited evidence to support risk of COVID-19 to your pet and no evidence that you are at risk from your pet. However, world pet organizations provide frequent updates, which we follow. We wipe down the animals purely as a precaution to ensure their health an safety.
Q: How do I pay my invoices?
A: All invoices are online and can be paid by credit card right through the online system. You are also still welcome to send e-transfers to email@example.com We also do still have our Clover machine, however to avoid as much human contact as possible we prefer the other two payment-methods first.
Q: Are your Mobile services still operating? (ie. dog walking, cat visits, pet transport)
A: 100% YES!
