MOBILE FAQS
What training does our team have?
Our mobile team has been certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and has completed extensive training in animal body language, development, safety, and care.
Can we administer medications?
Yes! Our mobile team is experienced with administering various medications including inhalers, topical medications, oral medications, and injections.
Our goal is to administer medications as safely and effectively as possible while keeping the pets calm and happy, and we’ll work with you and the pets to figure out the best way to do so!
Do you need vaccination records for mobiles?
No, vaccine records are not required for any mobile services.
Can we walk reactive dogs?
Yes! We understand that many dogs can be reactive to other animals, people, or new environments, and our team is experienced in working with a variety of temperaments.
Because every dog is different, we assess each situation on a case-by-case basis. The safety of both your dog and our staff is our top priority, so we must be sure that our team can safely handle your dog during a reaction. We encourage you to be open about your dog’s behaviors on walks during the meet and greet so we can determine whether we’re the right fit and create a plan for safe and successful walks.
Will I get updates and photos?
Yes, after each visit you will receive a report detailing what was done during the visit and a few photos of your pet(s).
Can we water plants?
Yes, we are able to water indoor and outdoor potted plants. Due to insurance restrictions, we cannot provide yard care services such as watering garden beds or grass cutting.
Are we experienced with puppies/kittens and seniors?
Absolutely! We have experience caring for pets of all ages.
For puppies, we focus on creating positive experiences and reinforcing good habits by following the routines and training methods you’ve established at home. Consistency is key, and we’re happy to support your puppy development while you’re away!
For seniors, we understand that they have a certain way of doing things, and we tailor each visit to keep them happy, comfortable, and safe. Whether they prefer a slower-paced walk, extra assistance, require medications, or just need some extra TLC, we’ve got it covered!
Are we insured?
Yes, we are protected by PRO-fur pet insurance!
Will the same person visit each time?
While we cannot guarantee the same team member for every visit, we do our best to provide consistent care wherever possible. Every team member that visits your animals has access to your care instructions and provides the same exceptional standard of care you expect from us.
How many pets can we care for at a time?
We do not have a limit on the number of animals we can care for at a time, however for some multi-pet households we may require additional time to complete all assigned tasks. Our home visit prices include up to 4 pets, and any additional pets are a charge of $5 each. Our walk prices include up to 2 pets, and any additional pets are a charge of $5 each.
Do we care for other small animals?
Yes! Not only do we offer mobile services for cats and dogs, but we also love caring for the feathered, scaled, and other fuzzy pets.
